At Steritech, our CSR approach is fully aligned with our vision for the industry: to balance industrial performance, innovation, and responsibility. For more than 38 years, we have been designing and manufacturing sterilization and pasteurization solutions for the food and pharmaceutical industries, with a commitment to offering equipment that is ever more efficient and environmentally responsible.

With a presence in more than 40 countries, we place people, innovation, and sustainable development at the heart of our strategy. Our purpose—“Uniting our talents to feed and protect the world”—guides everything we do and gives full meaning to our CSR approach.

At Steritech, Corporate Social Responsibility is not a standalone initiative. It serves as a true driver of progress that enables us to take sustainable action with our employees, customers, partners, and the local community.

Our CSR approach is based on three complementary pillars:

• develop industrial solutions that are increasingly energy-efficient and high-performing;
• promote skills development and the transfer of expertise;
• actively contribute to the economic and social vitality of our region.

Designing more sustainable industrial solutions

Innovation is one of the pillars of our CSR commitment.

We develop equipment designed to optimize water and energy consumption, improve the performance of thermal processes, and minimize production losses. This is the case with our WatterloW solution, which saves 35 to 40% in energy and up to 90% in water during a thermal treatment cycle.

Our solutions also help ensure the quality and safety of food and pharmaceutical products while helping to extend their shelf life.

Supporting our clients through their transition

Our commitment extends beyond the boundaries of our company. Through our technologies and innovations, we support our customers in the continuous improvement of their industrial and environmental performance.

This commitment is reflected, in particular, in the development of solutions that promote a more responsible use of resources and the optimization of production processes.

At Steritech, we firmly believe that innovation relies first and foremost on the women and men who bring the company to life every day.

Passing on skills and supporting young talent are therefore central to our social policy. In 2024, Steritech welcomed 11 interns and 12 apprentices. This commitment promotes training and career development.

Developing the talent of tomorrow

We work with educational institutions and the Mission Locale to promote careers in industry among young people.

This commitment is reflected in:

• hosting interns and work-study students;
• school-based programs;
• organizing tours of our industrial site;
• sharing our expertise with future professionals in the industry.

Strong local roots

Steritech, a family-owned business based in Alsace, plays an active role in the development of its local ecosystem.

In addition, whenever possible, we prioritize a value chain that relies on local and regional suppliers and service providers. We also support the local economy and nonprofit sector through skills-based volunteering and financial support for local organizations.
