Do you enjoy field work, technical tasks, and a variety of industrial environments? Would you like to help assemble and commission custom-built machines in France and abroad?
We are currently looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Installation Technician (M/F) to join our four-person Assembly team. You’ll work in a bright, clean, and heated workshop equipped with material-handling equipment (overhead crane, forklift, stacker) and high-performance tools.
Main Activities:
The Mechanical and Electrical Installation Technician assembles, installs, and tests equipment based on drawings, both in the workshop and on-site, to ensure that the delivered products function properly and are completed on time.
- Assemble complex mechanical assemblies (doors, chain conveyors) and electrical assemblies (cabinet wiring);
- Enter material consumption and production data for Production Orders (POs) into our ERP system;
- Conduct input/output tests with automation engineers;
- Verify that the assembled equipment is functioning properly;
Business travels to a client’s job site:
- Commission the machines at our customers’ sites after the power connections have been made;
- Train users of our equipment at our customers’ sites;
- Provide after-sales service for products at the customer’s site;
- Determine technical solutions tailored to the customer’s needs and constraints;
Required skills:
- Strong proficiency and knowledge of mechanical assembly;
- Knowledge of electrical engineering: reading industrial drawings, electrical schematics, and control panel wiring;
- You are comfortable speaking English or German;
- Basic knowledge of automation (Siemens) would be a plus!
Your profile:
- Two years of post-secondary education (BAC+2) in electromechanics, maintenance, and installation of industrial equipment;
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- You are thorough, organized in your work, and enjoy working as part of a team;
- Occasional travel around the world (primarily in Europe): an average of 6 days per month;
